We love our (tech) community

Seriously. There is a very active technical community in Ireland. In the Microsoft world, there are 8 user groups in Ireland (3 Dublin, 3 Cork, 1 Galway, and 1 Belfast), who between them host 30+ meetup's a year. These are free to attend and will feature a range of local and international speakers on a range of technical topics.

At DataSmart, we help to run two of the Cork technical groups as well as help to organize the annual Irish community data platform event. (SQL Saturday & Data Céilí). We also provide speakers who present at various meetups and conferences.

SQL User Group - Cork

The original Cork-based SQL User Group. We aim to meet 4-6 times a year and host talks on a variety of SQL Server topics

Power BI User Group - Cork

The newer, Power Platform focused Cork user group, we aim to host 4-6 talks a year about the Power Platform. 

Data Céilí

Ireland's largest dedicated community event. Free to attend, with 30 sessions across 5 tracks

#DataWeekender is a Popup Online Microsoft Data Conference. Free to attend, with 60+ sessions to at each event

SQL Ireland

Ireland's longest running SQL Server Focused User Group. Regular meetups on a range of topics. 

Dublin Power BI

Dublin's Power Platform focused User Groups. Regular sessions on a range of Power BI and Platform topics.
